Informational use only
IndexDoctor.io is provided as an informational tool. It analyzes publicly-available signals from URLs you submit and returns a best-effort diagnosis. We make no guarantee that fixing the issues we report will cause Google or any other search engine to index, rank, or surface your pages. Search engines change their behaviour without notice.
No guarantee of indexing
Indexing decisions belong to the search engines. IndexDoctor cannot grant, accelerate, or revoke indexing of any URL on any search engine. Reports describe what an automated client sees at one moment in time.
Permission to test URLs
You confirm that you are authorized to test the URLs you submit, for example, because they are URLs on a website you own, operate, manage, or have the owner's permission to audit. Don't submit URLs from sites you have no relationship with for the purpose of probing or attacking them.
No abuse or automated scanning
- Don't use IndexDoctor.io to overwhelm third-party servers, scrape content at scale, or evade rate limits.
- Don't automate the service to perform bulk or continuous scanning of arbitrary URLs.
- Don't attempt to abuse, automate, or reverse-engineer the service in ways that interfere with other users or with the third-party sites being analyzed.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for verifying anything you change on your own website. The IndexDoctor.io report is not a replacement for hands-on testing in Google Search Console, your server logs, and your own browser.
Availability
We may change, throttle, suspend, or remove features at any time without notice. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, deployments, or incidents. We do not provide an uptime guarantee.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, IndexDoctor.io and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or rankings, arising from your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after the changes constitutes acceptance.
